Hello I would like to see Carbonite map in the place of Grid.It will help people that level up toons :P and don't need grid.. I have a screenshot but currently if I take the mouse from the map, the grid frame gets the opacity and map goes to background..

This will be very easy with LUI v4, where you can add as many frames as you want. Carbonite is not popular enough and takes up too much memory to include with LUI which focuses on suiting everyone and using little to no memory. You can, in the mean time, Use the frame finder feature to find the parent frame of the Carbonite map and just set it as the anchor for the Raid Frame until LUI v4 comes out.

it can be done without a module but you have to disable grid for that toon (addon control panel works great for this) after disabling grid just anchor the map to the raid frame. after doing so you can use the raid frame button at the top of the UI to open and close the map. if you want to reduce the amount the map fades after you remove the mouse from the map just right click on the map header and change the fade in and fade out. i have done this with my alts and it works great there is no need for a module because of what Loui has already done :)

yeap I just done this, I disabled grid :P but i thought it could be done that if you are in group or raid grid appears (grid have this option), and the carbonite disappear... carbonite don't have that option but maybe someone can make a module for it. I don't know.. :P

Or maybe, what I imagine is to somewhat remove the Carbonite boards and somewhat fit the map in the frame...

Nevermind :P , I will use it without grid and I will use Addon control panel to switch them

if its an alt i would guess they wont be in much of a raid so you could always just use party frames

yeap thats what I am doing currently for my alt, but I found carbonite usefull in 80's too, especially for doing low level quests and farming herbs - mines :P

I would wait for LUI v4 to come out. It will include an option to make as many panels as you want, so you can have both Grid and Carbonite. Also I would recommend disabling Carbonite in raids as it cause lag for everyone.

How were you able to get the Minimap to work with carbonite? my carbonite always takes it place, and I cant use the LUI minimap.

it doesnt look like carbonite was setup to use the minimap (it casues a ton of issues) it looks like its just the minimap that comes with LUI

....ähm.....it has on wowinterface over 8 mio dls and other Sites it is downlaoded too.

Would be nice in LUI v4 to make own panals to realise such things to switch between grid and carbonite.
